warranty一般是指“保证”，但在物品交易时，该术语指交易的标的物存在隐藏的瑕疵时，卖方承担的担保责任（瑕疵担保责任）。warranty clause作为瑕疵担保责任的一般示例如下所示。

Seller warrants that the Device conforms to the Specifications set forth herein and is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year. If any defect is discovered during this warranty period, Seller shall, at its option, repair or replace the defective Products at no charge. Any replacement or repaired Product is warranted for the remainder of the original warranty or ninety (90) days, whichever is longer.
