【英文合同翻译的要点10】基本用语/表现 - herein, hereof, hereto, hereafter, herewith, etc.

在英文合同等法律文件中，会大量使用如标题一般，将here和介词连接起来的用语，以及therein, thereof, therefrom等将there和介词连接起来的词汇。一般here表示this (or this document)，there则表示that的意思，合同中把它们和介词组合起来后用作副词。

因此，在英文合同中，标题的各个术语分别是in this Agreement, of this Agreement, to this Agreement, afterwards in this Agreement, with this Agreement的意思。

此外，there则表示that的意思，指之前刚刚使用的名词，例如receipt thereof（其接收），a conclusion derived thereved from（由此得出的结论）等。

因此，therefor可被用作a reply therefor（对此的答复），但需要注意的是，它与therefore（因此）的意思并不相同。
